Three talented footballers from the Aspire Academy Senegal are expected to join KAS Eupen after the summer break. The Senegalese Souleymane Aw, the Ghanaian Abdul Manaf Nurudeen and Carlos Martinez Castro from Costa Rica are 18 years old and have signed their first professional contracts with KAS Eupen.
Carlos Martinez Castro is the first South American to join KAS Eupen via the Aspire Academy. Carlos is a central defender and arrived at the Aspire Academy in Dakar from his homeland as a 15-year-old.
Souleymane Aw comes from Senegal and feels most comfortable as an outside back. Souleymane Aw is currently contesting the FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea with the U20 national team of Senegal. The new KAS player played the full 90 minutes in the group games against Saudi Arabia (2-0), USA (0-1) and Ecuador (0-0) and joins his team in the last sixteen of the World Cup.
Abdul Manaf Nurudeen is a talented goalkeeper from Ghana.
KAS Eupen is looking forward to working with three additional talents from the Aspire Academy and now extends a warm welcome to the three newcomers.
