KAS Eupen has started its training camp

KAS Eupen started its training camp in Bitburg on Saturday. Head coach Claude Makelele and his coaching staff are preparing 29 players from KAS Eupen’s A squad for the new season in the sports school located in the Eifel. Following a warm-up session on Saturday, Sunday’s programme in midsummer temperatures included the first intensive training sessions on two football pitches at the sports school. The high-level training focused on conditioning, as well as strength, speed and ball skills. Two training sessions will be held each day. Team manager Michael Radermacher reported on a successful start to the training camp. “Bitburg offers us the perfect environment for our training camp. It’s not exactly luxurious, but everything is very functional and we have access to two sports fields in perfect condition. The coaching staff and the players can concentrate and work in peace and quiet. These are exactly the conditions that coach Claude Makelele has been looking for for this training camp.”
