Pro League supports national road safety campaign

Once again, fans from Belgium’s 24 professional football clubs are invited to take part in an exciting road safety quiz this season. The online quiz started on Monday on the clubs’ websites and will be offering five sets of questions over the next few weeks. Participants can check their road safety knowledge and automatically collect points for the account of their respective club.

Hendrik Van Crombrugge

One of the players promoting the campaign is Hendrik Van Crombrugge. The KAS Eupen goalkeeper is the main character in the first advertising spot currently being broadcast on several TV channels and the social media. Hendrik gives the right answer to one of the questions that have to be correctly answered in the five sets of questions.  The first KAS Eupen fans have already discovered the new game and have gained a placing in the table of the 24 professional football clubs. At the moment, KAS Eupen is still in the bottom half of the table, but this can quickly change, insofar as many fans participate – and of course answer the questions correctly.

Tickets and fan articles for the winners

For quiz participants, there are not just points to be won for their respective clubs. There are also interesting prizes, such as match tickets and fan articles from their favourite club. With this action, Pro League clubs are supporting are supporting AWSR (Agence wallonne pour la Sécurité routière) and VSV (Vlaamse Stichting Verkeerskunde), the two Belgian organisations working to improve road safety in Wallonia and Flanders.
