Boris Lambert transfers from KAS Eupen to Willem II
The 24-year-old defensive player and team captain Boris Lambert is moving from KAS Eupen to Dutch first division club Willem II. The player and the two clubs have agreed on this transfer.
Boris Lambert comes from the Ardennes town of Han-sur-Lesse and was trained in the youth section of KAS Eupen. He joined the 1st team squad in the 2019-2020 season via the U19 and U21 teams and was signed to a professional contract. Since the 2021-2022 season, he has been a regular and key player for the Pandas, for whom he played 90 competitive matches. As team captain, Boris Lambert answered journalists’ questions in numerous press, radio and television interviews and thus shaped the club’s positive public image.
The departure of Boris Lambert is a great loss for KAS Eupen, both in sporting and personal terms. As a training club for young talents, it is an important goal of the club to develop young players for the next step in their careers and to transfer them at the best possible time.
KAS Eupen sincerely thanks Boris Lambert for his commitment in the club’s jersey and wishes him every success for the next step in his career!
