Igor Plastun is a highly experienced international professional, who played 87 games for KAA Gent from 2021 to 2024, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.

From 2008 to 2016, the new addition to KAS Eupen played for the Ukrainian Premier League clubs FK Obolon Kyiv and Karpaty Lviv. In 2016, he transferred to the Bulgarian top-tier club PFK Ludogorets, to which he returned after three years with KAA Gent. With Ludogorets, he became Bulgarian champion four times, won the cup once, and claimed the Supercup three times. In 2024, he played for the Kazakh Premier League club Ordabasy and has been without a club since January 1, 2025.

The new KAS Eupen player has been active throughout his career with well over 300 appearances in the top divisions in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belgium, and Kazakhstan and has regularly participated in European competitions.
