Friendly Match: F.C. Viktoria Köln and KAS Eupen Draw 0-0
Today at 2 PM, KAS Eupen played an intense friendly match away against Viktoria Köln. The game was very balanced, with chances for both sides, making for an exciting 90 minutes.
At halftime, both teams made a complete lineup change to give as many players as possible some playing time. In the second half, there were some notable moments: In the 70th minute, Alfred Finnbogason hit the post, preventing a lead for KAS Eupen. Just five minutes later, Viktoria Köln was awarded a penalty kick, which our goalkeeper Julian Renner successfully saved.
It should be noted that Viktoria Köln is two weeks further along in their preparation. Despite this difference, it was a very good test for us, providing valuable insights for the upcoming weeks. All in all, it was an intense and educational game for KAS Eupen, which has prepared us well for the challenges ahead.
