Gary Magnée from KAS Eupen to Cercle Brugge

The 24-year-old midfielder Gary Magnée is moving from KAS Eupen to first division club Cercle Brugge. Gary Magnée and the two clubs agreed on this transfer contract on Friday.

By moving to Cercle Brugge, Gary Magnée is taking the next step in his professional career, which began at KAS Eupen. In July 2018, the Herstal-born defensive midfielder joined the KAS Eupen U21s from the youth section of KRC Genk. Just one year later, he made the leap into the first-team squad and was given a professional contract. He has been a regular in the 1st team since the 2021-2022 season and played 86 games in the Jupiler Pro League and Croky Cup in a KAS Eupen shirt.

With Gary Magnée, one of the Pandas’ key players and crowd favourites is leaving the team. Despite regretting this loss, KAS Eupen is delighted to have been able to bring another player to a recently very successful 1st division club, which is even taking part in European competitions this season. At the same time, this transfer represents an important step in the planning and reorganisation of KAS Eupen and contributes to achieving the economically necessary goals.

KAS Eupen would like to thank Gary Magnée for his outstanding commitment and strong performances with the Pandas team.

Thank you Gary and good luck for your future career!
