KAS Eupen signs David Widlarz
KAS Eupen has signed the German-Polish forward David Widlarz from Bayer Leverkusen’s U19 team. The contract between the 19-year-old youth player and KAS Eupen runs for two years until June 30, 2026.
The son of Polish parents, David Widlarz was born in Aachen on March 3, 2005 and grew up in Aachen. He played for Arminia Eilendorf before joining Fortuna Düsseldorf’s U17s in 2021 via Alemannia Aachen’s A-Youth team. Two years ago, he moved to the Bayer Leverkusen U19s. He scored 9 goals in 18 games with Fortuna Düsseldorf’s U17s and scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists in 50 games for Bayer Leverkusen’s U19 team in the Bundesliga West.
David Widlarz is a versatile player who can play in several positions in attacking midfield and attack.
He has played a total of seven international matches for the Polish U18 and U19 national teams.
