Luca Dalla Costa extends contract with KAS Eupen

U18 national team player Luca Dalla Costa has extended his contract with KAS Eupen for two more years until June 30, 2027. The central defender, who celebrated his 18th birthday on February 8, has been part of KAS Eupen’s professional squad since the beginning of this season and has made nine appearances for the first team so far. With the PandaYoungsters23, he has played seven league matches this season.

Luca Dalla Costa was born on February 8, 2007, in Hasselt and lives in the Limburg town of Beverst (Bilzen municipality). He was initially trained at Sint-Truiden VV and KV Westerlo. At just 12 years old, he joined the Panda Youngsters and has since developed from a highly talented youth player into a young professional at KAS Eupen.

He has played nine international matches for Belgium’s U16, U17, and U18 youth teams. In the summer of 2024, he made the leap from KAS Eupen’s U21 team to the professional squad and made his starting XI debut on October 30 in the cup match against Union Saint-Gilloise. Over the past few months, he has played eight matches for the club’s first team—at just 17 years old!

Luca Dalla Costa’s career path not only highlights his talent, potential, and determination but also reflects the high-quality training provided by KAS Eupen’s youth academy.

KAS Eupen is therefore all the more pleased that Luca Dalla Costa has chosen to continue the next stage of his football career with the club.

The club looks forward to continuing its collaboration with him and wishes Luca great success in his future career!
